October 19, 2026 Chiaradio Receives Warm Hometown Welcome at Shubuta Meet the Candidate Event SHUBUTA, MS — Democratic congressional nominee Michael A. Chiaradio received a warm hometown welcome last week during a Meet the Candidate event in Shubuta, the Clarke County community where he lives and operates his farm. The evening brought together residents, local officials, and community leaders for an opportunity to hear from Chiaradio and discuss the upcoming November 3 election. During his remarks, Chiaradio discussed his campaign’s priorities, including lowering healthcare costs, investing in infrastructure, strengthening public schools, and supporting small businesses and small farms. He also emphasized the importance of voter participation, encouraging attendees to help their friends, families, and neighbors take part in the election. Following his remarks and a question-and-answer session, several community leaders, including Shubuta’s mayor and Alderman Charles, addressed the gathering. They echoed Chiaradio’s message about the importance of voter turnout and offered encouraging words about his candidacy. For Chiaradio, the opportunity to receive that support in his own hometown made the evening particularly meaningful. Chiaradio expressed his appreciation to Ced “Mr. Beatz” Chapman for hosting the event, Pam Chapman for helping organize it, and the Shubuta Democratic Executive Committee and Clarke County Democratic Party for their involvement. He also thanked Ced’s Rib Shack for providing the food and everyone who attended for making the evening memorable. To support Michael A.
