November 2, 2026 Chiaradio Visits Happy Campers Farms, Discusses Small Business Access to Medical Cannabis Industry QUITMAN, MS — Democratic congressional nominee Michael A. Chiaradio visited Happy Campers Farms in Clarke County on Wednesday, October 28, where he met with founder Rodney Talley and toured his family-owned, veteran-owned medical cannabis cultivation business. The visit focused on the importance of ensuring that Mississippi’s medical cannabis industry provides opportunities for small businesses, particularly independent growers. Chiaradio expressed his support for the industry and discussed the need to make it accessible to entrepreneurs throughout the supply chain, from cultivation and processing to distribution and dispensaries. He emphasized that small businesses should have a meaningful opportunity to participate in emerging industries, rather than seeing those opportunities concentrated among larger companies. Talley subsequently shared photographs of the visit and publicly expressed his support for Chiaradio’s congressional campaign. Chiaradio thanked Talley for his hospitality, his support, and the opportunity to learn more about his work. With Election Day approaching, Chiaradio also encouraged residents to make a plan to vote on November 3rd, reminding eligible absentee voters that in-person absentee voting remains available through October 31st.
